Can someone give me $200?
I first saw this on the season finale of Grey's Anatomy. Seriously now, I am in love with it. Its natural and abstract and floral but not frilly. Its a halter that isn't micro miny! I am not in love with the price but it is a Trina Turk design. A girl can want.

Go there and laugh. Its for every pretentious Berkeley/ San Francisco "global citizen" who wears organically grown cotton Patagonia T shirts that cost 50 bucks--and yes, that includes me with my locally designed bamboo fleece sweater.

Monique Lhullier
I love Monique Lhullier's gorgeous, flowing 2009 collection. I especially like the first deep turquoise gown paired with the coral beads. Such a beautiful combination and I love the draping goddess quality.

Vicky Christina Barcelona
So, I watched "Vicky Christina Barcelona" yesterday and I was moderately impressed considering that it was a Woody Allen film. His last work, Match Point, had me so disgusted that I swore off all his films forever. I gave this one a chance only because it was set in Barcelona and had Penelope Cruz. It played out as a tribute to a very beautiful city filled with the strange and romantic. And it suceeded in making me want to go back to Spain! Of course, it is an Allen film so it has to be about sex but at least I felt like it had a very relaxed attitude. The two friends have different ideas about what they want but they accept each other and they don't fight. Its refreshing to see a female friendship on film that doesn't dissolve into cattiness and fighting.
It also managed to make Javier Bardem look more attractive and I might even say slightly sexy (at least in the role). After seeing "No Country for Old Men" I thought he was just ghastly.
Javier Bardem playing Anton Chigurh in "No Country for Old Men." A.K.A. the Deranged Beatle.
Javier Bardem as Juan Antonio in "Vicky Christina Barcelona." Passionate, charming artist. Is this the same man? Really?
